Express transport, also known as urgent transport, is a delivery method used when facing a critical situation: a very short deadline, an immediate need, or an unforeseen logistical constraint.
This type of transport enables the rapid delivery of a parcel — or even several pallets — to a specific destination within very tight timeframes.
Express transport is particularly useful when it comes to high value-added products or sensitive goods.
In such cases, it is essential to be able to rely on a trustworthy carrier, capable of ensuring both timely delivery and the safety of the goods being transported.
It is in these situations that companies choose to call on a specialist in urgent transport, which is quite different from standard transport solutions.
In Europe, the most common pallets are Euro pallets (also known as EUR/EPAL pallets).

Here are their standard dimensions:
Length: 120 cm
Width: 80 cm
Height (empty): 14.4 cm
Weight: approximately 25 kg
If the pallet is used for stacking boxes, the total height can reach around 180 cm, with an average volume of 1.7 to 2.2 m³ depending on the nature of the goods.
The choice of vehicle depends on the number of pallets to be transported, their total weight, and the type of goods.
For example:
A small truck (light carrier) can generally carry 8 to 10 Euro pallets, depending on the configuration and permitted load.
A 15-pallet truck, larger in size, is suitable for intermediate volumes.
For 33 pallets, a semi-trailer is used.
